Soothing & Refreshing Lemon Ginger Tea

INGREDIENTS:

(Go ORGANIC whenever possible!)

1 Tbsp Freshly Grated Ginger or 6-8 Slices of Ginger

2 Cups Filtered Water

1 Teaspoon  Raw Honey (Adjust to taste)

½ Lemon Freshly Juiced or 3-4 Round Slices of Lemon

OPTIONAL:

½ Cinnamon Stick – To be added at Step 2

Fresh Mint Leaves – To be added at Step 2

Dash of Cayenne Pepper – To be added at Step 4

DIRECTIONS:

Step 1: In a saucepan, bring water to a boil with the ginger in it. 

Step 2: Turn the gas off, and add in all the other ingredients (except honey & cayenne pepper).

Step 3: Cover the pan and let the mixture steep for 10-15 minutes. 

Step 4: Strain the mixture, add in the honey and cayenne pepper, and ENJOY!

Note: If using lemon juice instead of lemon slices, then add it in with the honey & cayenne pepper.
