Why Inspiration is Important?
We often hear phrases such as – “Stay Strong”, “Stay Positive”, “Say Energized” etc. Why not – “Stay Inspired?” Inspiration doesn’t quite get the attention it deserves, perhaps because of it’s elusive nature. Many believe that it is a quality you have to be born with. But that is not true. As I read in an article one – “Inspiration can be activated, captured, and manipulated, and it has a major effect on important life outcomes.”
Inspiration brings to ones eye – new possibilities, and the urge to want to explore their own capabilities in ways never before. The satisfaction gained from this is much sweeter than simply setting a goal and achieving it. In my view: Inspiration = Happiness!!!
And since yoga is about ultimately reaching higher levels of happiness, I thought it important to dedicate an entire category of my blog to “Inspiration.”
What this section of my blog will include?
I have broken-up this section into three parts:
Tapping Creativity: “Inspiration taps into creativity, and creativity into inspiration!“ So this section of the blog introduces random ideas on how to be creative. It is to motivate you to tap into your own creativity. It is to inspire you to spend some “me time” and bring your hidden talents to life. We all have some talent!!! But usually life just gets in the way, and we forget they ever existed.
Motivational Quotes: To uplift your spirits and maintain positive reinforcement.
Humor: There’s a reason why they say – “Laughter is the best medicine.” Let’s face it – life isn’t always easy, and we can all use good dozes humor. This section of the blog contains some light humor that will hopefully bring a smile to your face.
If I am able to inspire you even the slightest bit with this part of my blog, then I shall consider my time and efforts in creating it well worth it!!! 😊
So come on in and be INSPIRED…
